Hello families! Hope you have been enjoying this amazing weather! Sure makes being home a lot easier! As promised, here is the August 3rd email. Unfortunately, I don’t expect to hear from the school district until mid-week. I know we are all waiting on pins and needles to find out what our big kids schedule will look like! Thank you for the wonderful messages and feedback about fall. I know that all of these decisions are not being made lightly! We are thrilled to welcome back students in the fall for in person learning as well as online. Attached is the updated registration form for Fall. Here are the next steps: If you replied to my previous newsletter asking for in person learning, your spot is confirmed. You do not need to reply again UNLESS you did not hear back from me. If you are choosing a remote option for Fall, please reply with your students name and the days of the week. The information is on the top of the registration form. If you are still wanting to claim your spot for in person learning this fall, please reply asap. (I will not be removing any student off the roster until I have written confirmation!) If you are joining us for Kindergarten in the Fall, the registration form has been updated! Please note that we are ALL waiting for the schedule from the district! Check out the options and reply by AUGUST 15th with your top choice. I will not advertise this option until we hear from the district and priority always goes to WCDS alumni! Please let me know if you have any questions! As registration begins to fill up, we will tweak classes as needed. We would like to get students confirmed as soon as possible! Preschool and PreKtuition is for the entire year. You may pay in full or break it up into 10 payments. The first payment is due August 15th(this is the deposit for Fall and some of you already paid it in June). You may also pay for the entire year and receive a 5% discount if paid before August 15th. The 2nd payment is due September 8th and then the first of the month for the remainder of the year. Kindergarten tuition is for Fall. You may pay the entire amount and receive a 5% discount OR make 4 payments. The payment schedule for Kindergarten is August 15th, September 15th, October 15th, and November 15th. Class will begin September 8th and run until Winter break. In November/December, you will be able to register for options in 2021!
I will be sharing more information about our Covid protocol for Fall as well as a video for incoming students demonstrating what a day at WCDS will look like! Meanwhile, feel free to check out the information on the King County website that we are using as guidance for our Fall practices! Lot’s of great information!
