We are so excited for another school year to begin at Woodinville Country Day School! We are finishing up a fantastic summer, filled with 10 amazing weeks of camp, freshly painted classrooms, the addition of Messy Handz Studio, and the launching of a NEW Website & Logo! We are thrilled to welcome back Mrs. King as our PreK teacher, alongside Ms. Garfoot, and introduce Mrs. Tyrell as our new teacher for the 3’s class! The beginning of the year is new to everyone, so it is a good time to start getting into a regular bedtime and breakfast routine so that students are energized and ready to learn! School begins daily at 9 am, until 12:30 and students bring lunch. This month we will be learning about one another and beginning a year of fun and friendships! September is the month that we establish our routines at school and we learn about ourselves, our families, and the community around us! We also study the life cycle of plants and trees. The students make apple sauce from the apples in our backyard! We look forward to meeting all of the new families at WCDS! See you next week at orientation!
